It has a lovely Animal Exhibit that is home to 35 animals (snakes, turtles, rabbits, prairie dogs, and more) and a little park area that you can visit once the rain is over.

The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum is a perfect spot for a rainy day adventure with children of all ages. Little ones will love the hands-on fun in “Nature’s PlaySpace,” while older kids can explore the Butterfly Haven or learn about local wildlife in the animal exhibits. The museum’s rotating nature-themed exhibits ensure there’s always something new to discover!
